This advertisement’s goal is to sell cigarettes. In my opinion, the target audience seems to be young adults. The company tries to portray smoking as refreshing and enjoyable, like smoking is a cool lifestyle. The company also tries to express that the consumer will get the most out of his or her cigarette by italicizing “extra smokes,” and “more.”

There are a number of positive aspects of this advertisement. The picture and headline are large and pop out at the reader, letting people know what the advertisement is about with just a glance. Also, the company used very descriptive words to illustrate their product.

This company made one major mistake when making this ad: They have no signature! When creating a good advertisement, it is vital that the company leaves their mark. After reading this advertisement, I had no clue what tobacco company had produced it. They do a good job of promoting smoking, but a bad job of promoting their own company’s cigarettes. That is the company’s one BIG mistake.
